i am the blessed mama to three little men. i am fond of rainbow-colored hair, moderate weather, cozy blankets, and coffee in the morning, daytime, and middle of the night. i write. i make art in various forms. i am a fan and producer of run-on sentences. i don't like capital letters and don't use them often, though i have a strong background in academic and technical writing, so when not utilizing my poetic license, i do utilize proper grammar. i am learning to navigate through my ideals, seeking balance and peace, while allowing myself to fall short of my own high standards from time to time. i am a proponent of anything natural, crunchy, hippie, and waldorfy but i am far too imperfect to be a strict adherent to any philosophy, educational or otherwise. i think you'll enjoy my hodge-podge of writings, nonetheless.

one of webster's definitions of the term "crisis" is as follows:
an emotionally significant event or radical change of status in a person's life
becoming an accidental mother at sixteen was the most emotionally significant event of my life and the change in status was about as radical as i could fathom. becoming a mother on purpose, with age and intention on my side, was only slightly less dramatic.
